Overnight Operations Lead

The Overnight Operations Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our hotel's overnight operation, guaranteeing maximum guest satisfaction as well as the safety and security of the property.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and take on a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

As the Overnight Operations Lead, you will be responsible for managing the night shift staff, overseeing daily revenue audits, maintaining accurate records and reports, and providing exceptional guest services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting daily revenue audits and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports for finance and management.
  • Providing exceptional guest services, including check-in/check-out, request handling, and providing hotel information.
  • Settling and maintaining guest accounts with precision.
  • Enforcing strict security procedures to safeguard guest confidentiality and safety.

In order to succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A guest-focused mindset with adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to navigate change and provide timely solutions to problems.
  • Clear and confident communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Opera preferred.
  • Valid RSA and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain prior to starting.
