Replatforming Technology Lead

We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead to drive the re-platforming of our fintech platform.

This is a unique opportunity to balance technical expertise with leadership skills, driving innovation and growth within our organisation.

The Role
  • Lead the technology function, ensuring stability of current systems while building a next-generation fintech platform.
  • Be hands-on in coding (approx. 25% of the time) to prototype, guide best practices, and solve complex challenges.
  • Drive the re-platforming program using modern architectures and AI-assisted development.
  • Grow, mentor, and inspire a high-performing engineering team.
  • Collaborate with product and commercial leaders to deliver scalable, market-leading solutions.
Key Skills / Experience
  • 8+ years of engineering experience, with proven leadership in B2B SaaS platform development (fintech or financial services highly regarded).
  • A technical leader who thrives on rolling up their sleeves—comfortable both setting direction and contributing code.
  • Expertise across .NET, C#, REST APIs, SQL, and modern development frameworks.
  • Track record of leveraging AI in development and prototyping solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a commercial environment.
  • Agile delivery expertise and ability to manage external service providers.
