About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Revenue Optimisation Analyst to join our Commercial Division at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our Revenue Management team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and optimising revenue outcomes for our airline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to achieve market performance targets and budgets
  • Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth
  • Collaborate with various departments to propose enhancements to amplify revenue results across multiple markets
  • Utilise advanced revenue management systems to optimise revenue outcomes and track success of implemented strategies
  • Work closely with the Commercial Analytics team to create and enhance reports to guide strategies and measure performance
Requirements
  • Commercial experience in a numerical or analytical role, preferably in the airline industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive business decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Intermediate Excel skills and experience with revenue management systems, such as RO and SSI
