Project Engineering Specialist

About the Role
This is a high-level construction delivery position responsible for leading procurement and construction functions, managing site/project engineers, and ensuring project delivery meets safety, quality, and financial standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of construction plans, oversee productivity and sustainability initiatives, and manage EHS compliance.
  • Directly manage site/project engineers, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project delays or cost overruns.
  • Mentor junior staff members and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Responsible for programme development, cost control, and overall project coordination.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of on-site construction delivery experience with a proven track record on large-scale building projects (ideally >$100m).
  • Strong skills in programme development, cost control, and risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A deep understanding of EHS, quality, and sustainability standards.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
