Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Asset Accounting Specialist to manage the fixed asset register, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and contributing to accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.
  • Prepare monthly and year-end journals and reports relating to fixed assets, depreciation, and capital work in progress (CWIP).
  • Assist with capital budgeting and forecasting.
  • Liaise with operational teams to track asset acquisitions, disposals, and movements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Recommend and implement process and system improvements related to asset management.

Requirements:

  • CA / CPA qualified (or near completion).
  • Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting principles and standards.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
