Job Overview:

A high voltage electrician is required to provide quality and timely customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of equipment.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone with trade qualifications in electrotechnology and experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment.


The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to onsite site breakdowns and undertaking fault finding and diagnostic work.


  • Maintaining the important link between the customer and the company, ensuring a high level of technical product support

In addition to your technical skills, you will also need strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.


You must have a strong safety focus with an understanding and ability to always abide by site safety processes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A Certificate III in Electrotechnology
  • Experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment
  • Analytical thinking - Ability to investigate and diagnose complex electrical issues
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics
  • High risk work licences such as EWP, WAH, Forklift and dogging
  • Ability to travel away from home for short periods
