Support and Wellbeing Coach

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Success and Wellbeing Coaches to join our team.

As a Success and Wellbeing Coach, you will provide support to students in VET courses with complex needs. You will work collaboratively with trainers and other key stakeholders to ensure effective achievement of outcomes as per the support plan.

The day-to-day activities will include:

  • Providing a range of effective Success and Wellbeing Services (SWS) to students undertaking construction and trade qualifications within guidelines.
  • Assessing student's living, learning and transition needs.
  • Conducting individualised practical and emotional support to students in a proactive manner.

The role is multi-faceted and requires interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in meeting the needs of people at risk, people with disabilities and from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Proven experience and success supporting students to overcome barriers and achieve learning outcomes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Vocational Education and Training sector.
