About the Role

As a Banking Consultant at Suncorp Bank, you will be responsible for assessing the financial needs of customers and providing options to meet those needs in pursuit of specific sales, service and connected customer targets.

Key responsibilities include generating opportunities for deposits and home lending, providing recommendations to the Branch Manager for initiatives to improve sales performance, and assessing customer needs through open and targeted communication.

What will your day look like?

As a Banking Consultant, you will:

  • Process over-the-counter transactions in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Actively promote and support customers in the use of alternative electronic distribution methods for conducting day to day banking.
  • Support and demonstrate a risk management culture in line with Suncorp Bank's values.
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues related to your role responsibilities.

What will you bring?

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial or finance.
  • Demonstrated experience in a retail customer sales & service environment.
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
