About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Banking Officer to join our team at dnata catering. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of the business treasury function, assisting in the month end processing and transactional analysis for our billings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile the business's bank accounts on a frequent basis
  • Prepare daily cash position reports
  • Liaise with Accounts Payable and Payroll departments to ensure available funds are sufficient for upcoming payments
  • Investigate and manage reconciliation issues as they arise
  • Prepare Balance Sheet and general ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare month end bank submission reporting files
  • Administer and report on bank accounts and guarantees
  • Prepare supplier rebate schedules for review
  • Support the Financial Controller with assigned tasks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in banking and reconciliation roles
  • Experience working in a company with weekly cash flows over $1M
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to obtain a clear National Police Check
