Delivering project excellence requires a collaborative approach and unwavering commitment to quality. As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of allocated projects.
Job RoleThis position demands strong leadership skills, with a focus on orchestrating the construction delivery of allocated projects, including the upgrade of mechanical, electrical, civil, and process-related assets at our Wollongong Treatment Plant.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Construction Leads to ensure allocated projects are delivered within scope, time, cost, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Establish daily, weekly, and long-term project programs to achieve required project outputs with plant, labor, materials, and resources.
- Monitor and review costs, invoices, and claims for allocated projects, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Contribute to constructability reviews, focusing on design development and optimization.
- Evaluate tender responses, negotiate contracts, and award subcontract procurement packages.
- Oversee the quality and quantity of incoming equipment and materials against drawings and specifications, arranging corrections or modifications as needed.
- Analyze and manage document and record management, progress reporting, and compliance reporting.
- Manage work performance and oversee the activities of Subcontractors and the self-perform workforce to achieve desired outcomes.
- Liaise and coordinate with external parties and statutory authorities, managing site attendance as required.
To excel in this role, you will require a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, or Construction Management, coupled with a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in engineering. Additionally, a NSW Driver's License and White Card are essential requirements.
