ENT Registrar Position Overview

The role of an ENT Registrar is to assist in surgeries in the operating theatre alongside Accredited Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs), review patients in wards, Emergency Department, and ICU under supervision, perform pre- and post-operative inpatient reviews at the request of the VMO, participate in ENT department meetings and clinical teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in surgeries in the operating theatre

  • Participate in ENT department meetings and clinical teaching
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Medical Practitioner AHPRA Registration (General Registration)
  • MBBS and eligible for AHPRA Registration
  • Experience in a similar role within public or private healthcare
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and training requirements for junior doctors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Internet applications
