Insurance Technical Business Analyst Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a technical business analyst to join our insurance domain team. As a technical business analyst, you will play a key role in gathering requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of key projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collect customer requirements using various tools and techniques, evaluate, reconcile, and clarify conflicting requirements.
  • Technical Solution Design: Translate requirements into technical/functional specifications, design and implement insurance products and claims data models.
  • User Interface Development: Build user interfaces and journeys for insurance products.
  • Business Rule Implementation: Implement business rules and financial calculations using scripting languages.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Prepare testing documentation and perform system/integration testing, support customer testing.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Proficient in collecting and evaluating customer requirements using various tools and techniques.
  • Business Process Documentation: Skilled in translating and documenting business processes, technical specifications, and product configurations.
  • Data Modelling: Experience in designing and implementing data models for insurance products and claims.
  • User Interface Design: Ability to design user interfaces and user journeys for insurance products using platform tools.
  • Scripting and Automation: Knowledge of scripting languages for implementing business rules and financial calculations within platforms.
  • System Testing and Integration: Experience in preparing and executing testing documentation for system and integration testing.
  • Data Transformation and Mapping: Strong understanding of data conversion, transformation, and mapping requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to facilitate discussions with technical and business stakeholders of varying seniorities.
  • Documentation Management: Proficient in creating and maintaining client-facing and internal documentation.
  • Project Coordination: Experience in managing project scope, timeline, costs, and risk mitigation.
