Insurance Platform Analyst: Key Role in Insurance Industry

 

The Insurance Platform Analyst plays a vital role in the insurance industry, ensuring that business requirements are met through the effective analysis and documentation of insurance platforms. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and support the configuration and deployment of insurance platform applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements from business stakeholders.
  • Developing use cases, user stories, process flows, and business rules specific to insurance platforms.
  • Translating business requirements into insurance platform configurations and workflows.
  • Facilitating meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical deliverables.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain (preferably P&C Insurance).
  • Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Policy, Billing, Claims, or Insights modules.
  • Familiarity with integration workflows, APIs, and web services within insurance systems.
  • Knowledge of XML, JSON, and SQL for data analysis and mapping.
