The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing demand for materials across multiple projects, conducting in-depth analysis of turns and obsolescence to determine strategies for managing inventory, including setting MRP parameters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inventory Analysis:
    • Analyze data to identify and actively reduce surplus or obsolete stock (SLOB).
  • SAP Material Master Data Management:
    • Ensure accuracy and currentness of master data by analyzing and verifying information on manufacturer's part number, batch/lot number, dangerous goods flag, expired life data, serial number, preferred supplier, supplier lead time, and MRP.
  • Inventory Performance Improvement:
    • Develop and monitor KPIs for managing inventory.

    • Identify and manage risks associated with poor inventory performance.
  • Administration and Communication:
    • Effective stakeholder management skills, particularly strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skill-sets are essential.
