Overview of the Teacher Aide Position:
The School is seeking a dedicated and skilled Teacher Aide to provide support to teachers, enhance learning materials, and improve outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers and students with sporting activities and school excursions
- Communicating effectively and displaying high-level interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member
- Developing activities that promote productive partnerships between individuals and group members of the community, under the relevant teacher or other staff member responsible for the Indigenous portfolio
- Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing student development
- Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability, and sensitivity to students and their families
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have experience working with students and a strong understanding of cultural awareness and sensitivity.
