About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our Family Preservation Program as a Child Protection Case Manager. In this role, you will work with families at high risk of entering or escalating within the statutory child protection system to strengthen family relationships and ensure children can live at home safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage and support families with regular in-home support services to build strong, positive relationships.
  • Undertake an initial assessment of family strengths and needs to develop case plans that promote resilience and enable families to achieve lasting change.
  • Partner with other services to support families in shaping their next chapter, using evidence-informed practices and a strengths-based approach.
  • Tailor support to individual family needs, ensuring services are responsive and effective.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or a similar field.
  • Experience in case management in child protection.
  • A current driver's license.

  • The capacity to engage with people from all walks of life, including the local Aboriginal community.
