About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Protection Case Manager to join our team at The Benevolent Society. As a key member of our Family Preservation program, you will work with at-risk families to identify and address child protection concerns, develop case plans, and provide intensive home visiting and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments of family strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement case plans to empower families to make lasting change
  • Provide intensive home visiting and support to families
  • Collaborate with other services and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for families

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant industry experience and/or tertiary qualification in Social Work, Welfare, or Psychology
  • Ability to actively and respectfully engage and assess Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander families
  • Experience identifying and addressing child protection concerns
  • High level written and verbal communication skills
  • Current driver's license
