Citadel Securities, a leading Options Market Maker, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fundamental Analyst – Intern.

As a Fundamental Analyst – Intern, you will work closely with our trading team to develop in-depth fundamental knowledge of a sector or industry, as well as a broad base knowledge of financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of a sector or industry, including its key drivers and trends.
  • Identify pricing inefficiencies and collaborate with traders to monetize predictions.
  • Source and analyze new data sets to refine forecasts and improve trade ideas.
  • Monitor trends in the marketplace and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Employ a holistic approach to predicting distribution of outcomes and making volatility predictions.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background from a top school.
  • A strong interest in financial markets and a desire to learn about the fundamentals that drive them.
  • Ability to think about the world systematically and quantitatively, as well as the ability to deal with uncertainty in a logical and consistent approach.
  • Intermediate experience with programming, especially Python, preferred, but not required.
