Job Title: Rolling Stock Maintenance Manager

Overview:

  • We are currently recruiting a Rolling Stock Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and operational performance standards of rail fleet.
  • This role is responsible for train performance, contract compliance, and overall commercial profitability.
  • Hands-on experience in improving rolling stock asset performance is required – whether it be light rail, passenger rail, rail maintenance, or freight/locomotive fleet.

Responsibilities:

  • Team management of a cross-functional team including engineering, maintenance, procurement, and commercial specialists.
  • Act as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, including being one of the key client representatives.
  • Overall P&L responsibility.
  • Driving continuous improvement and reliability processes across the train fleet.
  • Risk management.
  • Achieving safety targets.
  • Dispute resolution.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Qualification in Engineering, Business Management, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience in a rolling stock management position – maintenance or manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience managing a P&L.
