About the Role

The Implementation Data Consultant is a key position within our team, responsible for providing advanced BI analysis, integration subject matter expertise, and data import/export services. This role plays a crucial part in helping us deliver best practice guidance on API essentials, third-party integration fundamentals, and data manipulation for external data warehouse, data lake, and analytical reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced customer BI reports using SQL, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Utilize APIs to provide enhanced data import/export offerings, bulk product configuration services, and attachment import services, particularly during customer migrations from legacy systems.
  • Provide foundational knowledge and upskilling to the wider Implementation department, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Leverage your understanding of APIs to support Implementation staff during customer onboarding and expansion initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and data management.
  • Design and build data transformation tools, such as scripts and macros, to improve data migration scalability and efficiency.
  • Design and develop data extraction scripts to support customers' use of external analytics and reporting solutions, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

Requirements

  • Ability to design SQL scripts and extracts, with a strong understanding of data transformation and manipulation.
  • Advanced data transformation skills, with experience in utilizing APIs and integration principles.
  • Technical expertise in utilizing APIs, with knowledge of integration principles and 3rd-party ETL tools.
  • Experience with Google Apps scripts, Python, VBA, or equivalent, with a strong understanding of data manipulation and transformation.
  • Familiarity with 3rd-party reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, Power BI, etc., is a plus.
