">Senior Officer Operations Engineering Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic operational environment and contribute to a diverse workplace. As a Senior Officer - Operations Engineering, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing technical information for water, wastewater, and drainage operational assets to support the Perth Region Field Services and Operations Engineering team.


The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and documentation. They will also possess sound computing skills, including in Microsoft suite, and be able to learn new systems with ease.


The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing asset information from various sources and updating relevant systems for operational use. They will also engage and regularly consult with operational stakeholders, develop and maintain operational asset analysis tools, and develop and maintain schematics for the Region's water, wastewater, and drainage networks.


In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Officer - Operations Engineering will proactively engage with technical experts and business team leaders to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement of the systems, processes, and activities of the team.


Key qualifications and skills required for this role include a tertiary qualification in engineering or considerable experience in operations and maintenance practices involving data reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will also possess well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as a flexible attitude with the ability to operate in a changing environment.


Key Skills And Experience
