Support Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a Support Assistant to provide personalised support to assist participants in living meaningful and fulfilling lives.

As a Support Assistant, you will work closely with participants to ensure their individual needs are met. Your day may include providing support with activities of daily living such as companionship, transport, shopping, meal preparation, domestic assistance and medication management.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience working with vulnerable groups
  • Ability to work flexible hours on a fortnightly roster
  • Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone (iPhone or Android)
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle
  • Satisfactory Police Records Check [less than 12 months old] and Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
