As a support worker, you will be integral in helping people achieve their goals, work towards independent living, and engage positively within their community. Your role will encompass various support services including:
- Assistance to Social and Community Participation: providing tailored support to enable participants to engage in community activities, social events, and recreational pursuits.
- In-Home Support: Family-based support focusing on domestic duties, establishing routines, cooking, cleaning, financial skills, and budgeting.
- Transport Services: Safely transporting participants to complete daily activities, attend appointments, go to and from school/work, and participate in community activities.
- Development of Daily Living and Life Skills: Helping participants become more independent with daily skills such as public transport awareness, financial management, pursuing studies or work, driver's license achievements, and other tasks.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To excel in this role, you will need to possess:
- A current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- A current National Police Certificate
- A current driver's license (P1+P2 accepted) and access to a clean, road-worthy vehicle for transporting participants
- A current First Aid Certificate
- An NDIS screening check
- Proof of double vaccination
