Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Director to join our CRO division. This leadership role involves overseeing a dedicated team, driving strategic growth initiatives, and securing new clinical research opportunities through a consultative and solutions-focused sales approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in alignment with corporate growth strategy.
  • Cultivate and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads from initial contact through to contract execution.
  • Expand business within existing accounts by identifying unmet client needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers, including C-level executives, clinical operations leaders, and procurement teams.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive account plans.
  • Provide strategic input into service and capability development based on market intelligence and customer feedback.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in business development or sales within a CRO.
  • Demonstrated success in securing small to mid-scale clinical trial contracts and achieving sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the drug development lifecycle, regulatory frameworks, and clinical trial operations.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret and negotiate complex contracts and budgets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and manage complex, matrixed relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial awareness.
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills.
