Early Childhood Educator Role Overview

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and maintaining quality education programs that meet National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Providing individualized attention and support to children's learning and development needs
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve centre goals and objectives
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development and reflective practice to enhance teaching practices and improve outcomes for children

Requirements and Qualifications include:

  • A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to complete it
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • A permanent right to work in Australia
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing circumstances and priorities
