The Sydney Office has an exciting opportunity to join the Workplace Relations & Safety team as a Solicitor, working closely with our highly respected safety partner Greg McCann.

This role involves advising on large construction and mining sites, assisting clients in finding solutions to complex workplace relations and safety issues. You will also represent clients in relation to safety/regulatory safety prosecutions.

As a member of our team, you will have access to valuable industry experience, interacting with clients and attending various work sites. This position offers genuine work life balance supported by flexible working arrangements, including the opportunity to elect to work remotely for a portion of the week.

A key aspect of this role is developing your knowledge of safety law and risk management, with the opportunity to progress through transparent pathways for promotion.

You will be an experienced solicitor with 2 – 4 years post-qualification experience, demonstrating a broad range of skills and qualifications. These include:

  • Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Broad experience providing advice on employment and safety matters, as well as litigation experience;
  • Knowledge of the safety law and risk management;
