Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have experience in the assessment and management of children and adolescents who present with high levels of acuity and mental health issues. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide client-centered care and achieve positive outcomes for patients and their families.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum 5 years full-time equivalent post-qualification experience with at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in mental health
  • Postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to the field in which appointed or such other qualifications deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in effective communication and interpersonal skills across a variety of mediums
  • Proven ability to implement changes and develop clinical practice using evidence-based research and practice
  • Current drivers license with no restrictions
