Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced tyre professional to join our team as a Tyre Installation Specialist. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and has a strong focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.

About the Role:

  • Balances, installs, and rotates tyres using industry-standard equipment and techniques.
  • Stocks and repairs tyres to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Assists customers with purchasing tyres, including answering questions, making recommendations, and processing transactions.
  • Limits body damage on service orders by carefully examining vehicles before and after services are performed.
  • Drives member vehicles into install bays, onto hydraulic hoists, and sets brakes to prepare them for tyre installation.
  • Raises auto vehicles, removes wheels using impact guns, and follows safety procedures to prevent accidents.
  • Rolls wheels to mounting machines, removes tyres from wheels, attaches new valve stems, and mounts new tyres on wheels.
  • Fills tyres to the appropriate air pressure and operates automatic balance machines to achieve optimal weight distribution.
  • Attaches lead weights to rims using lead weight hammers and re-attaches wheels to autos using impact guns and hand torque wrenches.
  • Parks member autos in lots, returns invoices and keys to sales desks, and performs second torque checks after manager/leads have completed their inspections.
  • Repairs flat tyres for members, cleans install areas, and assists with driving member vehicles into service bays and parking them in lots.
  • Follows all safety procedures and guidelines, communicates effectively with colleagues, and maintains a clean and organized workspace.
