Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Functional Capacity Assessor to join our team. In this exciting dual role, you will conduct thorough physical capacity assessments, coordinate training programs, and analyze medical reports to ensure accurate results.

The Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive functional assessments to evaluate an individual's ability to perform daily tasks and work-related activities.
  • Analyze medical reports and assess client worksites to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff and employees on manual handling techniques and conduct safety site inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with management and clients to facilitate return-to-work initiatives and provide guidance on injury management.
  • Maintain accurate records of functional assessment procedures and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Health Sciences or Allied Health (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or Registered Nursing)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
