Job Description

We are seeking a Sports and Physical Education Leader to develop and deliver engaging physical education and sports programs for children aged 5-16 in various settings. The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating program activities to support physical development and encourage healthy lifestyles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead safe and age-appropriate sports sessions that cater to diverse skill levels and learning styles
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and social skills among participants
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless program delivery
  • Maintain equipment, report any issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Support the development of program materials, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in a coaching or teaching capacity is essential
  • Strong knowledge of sports, physical education, and child development principles is required
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary to succeed in this role
  • A positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude is vital for creating a supportive and motivating learning environment
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid and CPR certification are mandatory
