About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at The Benevolent Society. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to individuals with disabilities, focusing on behaviour support and intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Collaborate with Allied Health Professionals to ensure seamless support and care for clients.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to empower individuals and drive progress towards their goals.
  • Uphold NDIS standards and foster trust and collaboration with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Core or Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner in accordance with the NDIS Capability Framework.
  • Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in behaviour support intervention and the development of behaviour support plans.
  • Ability to respond to the needs of people of all abilities and cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills for negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience in or ambition to deliver support, supervision, or mentorship to colleagues and professional peers.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
  • Ability to provide a service based on a client's NDIS goals and funding allocation.
  • Current NSW drivers' license and willingness to travel to clients and work flexibly.
