About This Opportunity

We're seeking a professional and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team at a retail site in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. In this role, you'll be the face of security excellence, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients, customers, and visitors while responding effectively to any challenges or emergencies.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Delivering exceptional customer service alongside professional security duties.
  • Guarding, patrolling, monitoring, and controlling access to the premises.
  • Promptly responding to emergencies, alarm events, and calls for assistance.
  • Conducting risk assessments and addressing potential threats with professionalism.
  • Managing access control and maintaining situational awareness.
  • Preparing detailed incident reports and data logs.

What We're Looking For

We value diversity and are open to candidates from all backgrounds who meet the following requirements:
  • A current Security License with crowd control (essential).
  • A Control Room License.
  • A current First Aid certificate & CPR.
  • Impeccable presentation and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
