Support Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and caring professional to provide daily living, personal care, and community participation support.

About the Role:

  • Provide hands-on assistance with daily activities, personal care, and social interactions.
  • Foster independence and build confidence in individuals supported.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centred care and services.
  • Ensure high standards of care are maintained in accordance with relevant guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Daily Living Support: Assist with personal care tasks, meal preparation, and household chores.
  2. Personalised Support Plans: Work with individuals to develop and implement tailored support plans that promote independence and choice.
  3. Community Participation: Support individuals to engage in community activities, leisure pursuits, and social events.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Disability (or equivalent qualification).
  • Relevant experience in disability support or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
