Job Overview

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the successful execution of remediation projects from initial setup through to completion. This involves ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements and effective cost management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage remediation projects to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure that all remediation work adheres to established safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Implement strategies to optimize project efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Coordinate labor and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance on engineering issues and support project teams as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to meet project objectives and exceed their expectations.
  • Participate in tendering and estimation processes to secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement Integrated Training Programs (ITPs) and Site Work Method Statements (SWMS).
  • Raise Requests for Information (RFIs) and track responses to ensure timely resolution of project queries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing construction projects in a contractor environment.
  • Strong interest in business development and operations.
  • Effective leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities.
  • High level of safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth.
  • Solid programming and planning skills to deliver projects efficiently.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Tertiary Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Construction induction white card and adherence to site safety protocols.
  • Police clearance due to the nature of Defence site projects.
  • Valid driver's licence.
