ERP Transformation Specialist

The ERP Transformation Specialist will play a pivotal role in the design, build, and deployment of a modern ERP solution focused on HR and Payroll functionality. This includes working closely with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to ensure the successful delivery of SAP S/4 HANA Payroll capabilities.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Analysing and documenting payroll processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather business and system requirements.
  • Translating business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Assisting in the design of compliant payroll solutions aligned with Australian regulations.
  • Supporting test case development, UAT coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Validating payroll data migration and integrations with other SAP modules and systems.
  • Contributing to parallel payroll runs and post-go-live stabilisation efforts.
  • Liaising with change and business readiness teams to support training and adoption.
  • Acting as a key bridge between functional, technical, and operational teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as an ERP Transformation Specialist focused on SAP Payroll, HR, or related enterprise systems.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP HCM sub-modules including Payroll, Time Management, PA, and OM.
  • Proven experience in large payroll transformation or migration projects.
  • Understanding of payroll outsourcing, regulatory compliance, and system integrations.
  • Skilled in process mapping, documentation, and workshop facilitation.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Business analysis certification (e.g. CBAP, CCBA) desirable.
