About the Role:
Golf Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced State Manager and Head of Clubs & Facilities to lead the growth of golf in South Australia. This pivotal role will work closely with the Golf SA Board, Golf Australia team, and Clubs, Facilities, and Places to Play national team to drive the delivery of strategic priorities for developing golf in SA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong, positive, and high-performing team culture
- Effectively represent golf in SA and establish productive relationships with key stakeholders
- Drive the effective operation of all Golf Australia's state-based activities
Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership with a focus on creating a high-performing team, preferably in a sport or entertainment organisation with a matrix-management environment
- Experience in delivering strategic objectives and balancing stakeholder interests in complex environments
- Growth mindset, with a track record of business development and delivering commercial outcomes
- Passion for golf, with qualifications in business and/or sports management, and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
