Key Responsibilities

The Venues Coordinator will be responsible for the effective operation of a range of sport and recreation venues and associated administration facilities. This includes coordinating event planning, facility readiness, and the allocation and rostering of relevant staff and contractors for sporting/community and functions hosted by the venues team.

The role requires establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with tenants, service providers, contractors, operational staff, event stakeholders, community groups, and members of the associated sporting communities, including state sporting organisations, international teams, and clubs.

Key Performance Indicators

The Venues Coordinator will be measured on their ability to:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of venues and facilities
  • Coordinate events and activities to meet customer needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement
