About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Policy Officer to join our Disability and Inclusion Team in the Early Childhood Outcomes Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of policies and projects that promote access and participation for children with disability or additional needs in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development and implementation of policies and projects that contribute to the delivery of policy initiatives and reforms.
  • Provide policy advice and analysis to support the development of policies and projects.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of policies and projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and industry partners.
  • Contribute to the development of policy briefs, reports, and other written materials.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Experience working in a policy or project management role, preferably in the early childhood education or disability sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide policy advice and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the development of policies and projects.
