Job Title

Business Development Manager: An Opportunity to Enhance Internal Finance Functionality

This role presents a dynamic chance to work with clients, enhancing their internal finance function and developing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relations: Reviewing processes and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Management Accounting: Producing timely and accurate management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • VAT Returns Preparation: Preparing and reviewing VAT returns for various clients in different industries.
  • Team Leadership: Providing effective leadership, training, support, and development for a high-performing team.
Requirements
  • ICAew/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent by experience.
  • Background in finance operations with prior experience in a similar position.
  • High level of IT proficiency and experience with Xero, Quickbooks, Sage, and Excel.
  • Prior practical experience of drafting management accounts, producing and reporting on management accounts, setting up accounting systems/functions, and completing VAT returns.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with a wide range of clients.
