About this role:

We are seeking a professional to manage our financial operations and support strategic decision-making. This is a key position within the organisation, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily financial transactions
- Formulate budgetary and accounting policies
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns and reports
- Examine operating costs and company income/expenditure
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow analysis
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Implement internal financial controls and reporting systems
- End of month financial processing and prepare financial report
- Liaise with external auditors, advisors and institutions for fund management arrangements

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
