The opportunity

We are currently on the lookout for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Financial Planning Assistant to provide professional administrative support to the wealth management activities of the business. In this client facing role, you'll be working closely with the Private Wealth Advisers (PWAs) to build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and respond to general client queries and requests. This role also includes administrative support for the PWAs, including scheduling client meetings and diary management, preparing documents for client reviews, maintaining client records and other general administrative tasks. You'll also liaise with key stakeholders to ensure all client tasks are completed within set time frames.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional administrative support to wealth management activities
  • Work closely with Private Wealth Advisers to build and maintain client relationships
  • Respond to general client queries and requests
  • Schedule client meetings and manage diaries
  • Prepare documents for client reviews
  • Maintain client records and perform other general administrative tasks
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure client tasks are completed within set time frames
What we are looking for in a successful candidate
  • Previous experience in a similar role within financial services or a related industry is preferred
  • Current or ongoing study in Business/Commerce, Diploma of Financial Planning and/or RG146 Compliance would be advantageous
  • Hard-working, resilient and committed to delivering positive outcomes for clients and colleagues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with XPLAN is a bonus
  • Strong focus on delivering high-quality client service and close attention to detail
