We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our team at GBS Recruitment. The successful candidate will provide administrative support and reception duties to a team of lawyers and administrative staff within our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform legal administrative tasks such as audio typing, data entry, file management, and client coordination.
- Receive client inquiries in-office or at court and refer them to specialists as needed.
- Provide information and referrals to clients and legal practitioners about services.
- Update and maintain the case management system, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
- Manage client appointments, including video conferencing and telephone bookings.
- Assist in improving work practices and the day-to-day management of the office, including training new staff.
- Perform financial administration tasks such as processing invoices and handling cash.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to provide client-focused services in a sensitive environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, particularly with disadvantaged groups.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and word processing tools.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in administrative and/or reception support (ideally in a legal environment).
- Knowledge of legal procedures and systems is highly desirable.
