Youth Mental Health Professional

Our organization is seeking a mental health clinician to join our crisis and assessment team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals and contribute to the development of our team.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with young people experiencing psychiatric illness and disability, their families, and carers.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Relevant professional qualification in a health-related discipline with current registration with AHPRA where applicable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of recovery and collaborative clinical practice.
- Demonstrated well-developed skills and knowledge in youth mental health, community mental health, including crisis intervention, consultation, referral, mental state and risk assessment, treatment and collaborative care planning.
- Opportunity to work in a developing multi-disciplinary team.
- Mentoring and career development programs.
- Onsite childcare and easy access via public transport, car parking and end of journey facilities for cyclists.
