Research Associate

The position of Research Associate is available in Youth Mental Health. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated researcher with expertise in conducting clinical research, recruiting participants, and ensuring ethical compliance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage data collection, entry, and analysis using specialised programs to produce high-quality research outcomes.
  • Support the preparation of publications and presentations by analysing findings and reporting results effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective relationships with clinical teams and participate in project meetings and planning activities.
  • Contribute to research administration by preparing ethics documents, managing adverse event reporting, and assisting with the overall running of studies.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in behavioural or social sciences or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with quantitative/qualitative data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Experience conducting interviews and working with databases.
  • Flexibility, well-organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Able to work effectively with young people with mental ill health.
