This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of clinical expertise, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
As a Nurse Clinical Specialist in Sexual Health, you will work closely with patients and healthcare teams to provide individualized care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect clinical care for complex client presentations, including working with less experienced nursing and midwifery staff.
- Develop and implement specialized sexual health clinical services for people living with HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care and case management.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligibility for same.
- Demonstrated highly-developed clinical knowledge and skills in relevant area of nursing/midwifery.
- Experience contributing to the development and implementation of local/regional policy and supporting change management.
