Specialist Adolescent Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our Paediatric Medicine department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialist clinical care across adolescent medicine outpatient services, including eating disorders, gender diversity, adolescent transition, and complex medical clinics.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions and support programs for young people and their families.
- Lead and support clinical education by mentoring junior staff, facilitating student learning, and contributing to a positive development-focused team culture.
- Drive service improvement by contributing to research, clinical audits, and the development of protocols, while supporting change and innovation across adolescent health services.
- A registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible to hold) a current practicing certificate.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience, with demonstrated competence in adolescent healthcare.
- Proven ability to mentor junior staff and support student learning within a multidisciplinary team.
- Sound knowledge of healthcare legislation, quality improvement systems, and current clinical best practices.
