**Grooming Manager Role**

We are a market leading grooming business that delivers exceptional care and stylish grooming to dogs. Our team takes detailed notes after each groom and records them on the dog's file, ensuring their preferences are always met.

Our priority is the well-being of our furry friends while they're in our care, which is why we only use premium shampoos and conditioners. We also keep detailed records of our regular clients' grooming history.

As a manager at our salon, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing appointments and providing outstanding customer service;
  • Problem resolution and maintaining high centre standards;
  • Overseeing the well-being of dogs in care and building strong rapport with pet owners;
  • Assisting with the hiring process, including conducting interviews and training new staff;
  • Coordinating public and private events both onsite and offsite;
  • Handling incident reports, emergencies, and first-aid situations;
  • Supporting sales goals and performance targets.

We encourage open communication with customers and promote a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of groomers and supporting staff development;
  • Creating and managing rosters and salon booking schedules;
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and attention to detail;
  • Collaborating with the management team to achieve business objectives.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

• Passionate about canine welfare and dedicated to delivering exceptional grooming services;

• Previous experience as a manager or assistant manager in a similar role;

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team;

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;

• Ability to lift up to 20kg and work in a fast-paced environment.
