Are you passionate about pets and an experienced Pet Groomer? We're searching for a talented and experienced groomer to join our team at Hills Grooming. If you have a knack for making pets look and feel their best and possess excellent grooming techniques, we want to hear from you

Position: Experienced Dog Groomer

Location: Bella Vista, Sydney – Hills District

About Us: Hills Grooming is a leading provider of professional pet grooming services to cats and dogs in Bella Vista, Sydney (located next door to Sydney Animal Hospitals, and across the road from Bella Vista Metro).

At Hills Grooming, we believe that happy and fulfilled employees are the key to providing exceptional service to our furry clients. Our team of 15 dedicated individuals, including a receptionist, salon manager, daycare attendants, cat groomer, grooming assistants, and more, is at the heart of our success.

Responsibilities:


• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling according to client specifications and breed standards. 5-7 dogs per day.


• Provide compassionate care and handle pets with patience and kindness throughout the grooming process.


• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including proper sanitation of equipment and tools.


• Work collaboratively with our receptionist, salon manager, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.


• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and address any concerns or special requests.

Requirements:


• Minimum of 1 years of professional grooming experience, with proficiency in grooming various dog breeds and coat types.


• Demonstrated expertise in grooming techniques such as scissoring, clipping, and de-shedding


• Strong knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards and styles.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast paced environment.


• Certification from a recognized grooming school or program is preferred but not required.
