About the Role

  • Deliver exceptional meal service, including assisting with meal preparation, and provide a quality dining experience for residents.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative team environment by supporting your colleagues and adhering to all policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by closely following kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practices.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A genuine interest in providing excellent care and support to seniors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential.
  • A solid understanding of food safety principles, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene best practices.
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with diverse groups of people.
  • The ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
