Food Service Team Member

We are seeking a School Catering Assistant to support the food service operations at a prestigious school campus. This casual position is available for approximately 40 working weeks per year, with breaks during school holidays.
As a Catering Assistant, you will work collaboratively with other team members to deliver smooth daily operations. You will be responsible for supporting the preparation and serving of meals in the school canteen during break times, assisting with packaging and organizing online food orders, maintaining cleanliness and food safety across kitchen and service areas, following guidelines on portion control, presentation, and food quality, and ensuring all meals meet health, dietary, and nutritional standards.
The ideal candidate will possess valid RSA and Working with Children Check, barista experience preferred, passion for food and customer service, high attention to hygiene and food safety standards, positive, team-oriented attitude, and experience in a food service or school catering environment (desirable but not essential).
